Delta

Today me and my youth group went to delta, at first it sucked because I was the only girl from tok going but once I got there we got divided up into four teams I was on the yellow team and in the beginning everyone underestimated us, but after all the games, we were the first place winners, all around I had a good time in delta and it was really fun to meet new people and to hang out with friends I don't get to hangout with too often.

Dry creek

This sunday i went to dry creek with my youth group to hangout and meet the kids out there, dry creek was kinda a culture shock for me because they are really together as a community but they have strict rules there too. The kids there are really nice though and i really liked how close knit the community was, they eat lunch and dinner together everyday in the church and they all share the work that must be done on the farm. Their was about 15 kids i met there and they were all very poliet and there is a total of about 80 people that live there. We played capture the flag and i fell alot (20+ times ) and faceplanted in snow which was halarious. Later after dinner me allen and sam went to the creek which is still frozen and we found a big rope and we swung on it, at first i didnt want too but they convinced me too and it was really fun. All around im really looking forward to going there next year and maybe having them travel down here during summer.

Regionals

In nenana last weekend we had our regionals, im very proud of how my team played and we are always improving, next year we definetly will go to state.

This week we went to effie (fairbanks) and nenana, we beat effie then lost to nenana but then we came back in the second day and beat nenana. I witnessed alot of cool and funny things-like Michele getting her nachos hit out of her hand and fly and cover over half the bleachers, but it was a great weekend, we watched the movie gravity too and i got fouled for like the first real time and actually made a free throw. I cant wait untill next week when we return to nenana for regionals :D

Refereeing at the middle school round robin :D

So this weekend i got to be a ref for the middle school volleyball round robin, it was really fun and kinda weird becasuse the coaches and other people kept calling me ref, i have a new respect for refs though and i fell sorry for them when coaches try to argue with them ( which one coach did to me ) later that night i helped out at bingo for a basketball fundraiser, which i later fell alseep at. All together i had a great time though and i hope to ref for them agian next year

This weekend we had home games we won all of our games besides the very last game. We played hard and im very proud of my teams, this weekend was just great! Oh amd our warm ups finally came in!!!
